The Brief

• basic troubleshooting WAN/LAN
• remote access (MS TS, VPN) phone support for customers
• potential for onsite support depending on your experience
• work with, support and learn from experienced senior Engineers
• technologies include: Windows Desktop and Linux OS, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Wireless, TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP and HTTP

The Requirements

• 1+ year in a junior Engineer/technical support role
• tertiary qualifications desirable but not mandatory
• customer service orientation and experience
• drivers license and car in case required to visit client sites
• burning desire to learn
• passion for self-education
• proactive, self-motivated, positive individual with strong interpersonal and time management skills
• enjoys working in a team environment whilst having the confidence to work autonomously when required
• excellent communications skills (both verbal and written) with ability to efficiently convey complex technical concepts
• meticulous attention to detail for documentation
