The Brief

  • focusing on professional services and solution sales, you work with tier-one vendor products and solutions
  • you will be responsible for developing, managing and closing new business opportunities
  • plan, execute and follow up strategic marketing to generate leads
  • attend client visits to open, manage and close opportunities
  • build long-term loyalty within your account base
  • liaise and work with vendors, internal technical and support staff
  • enhance your skills with training and professional development offered

The Requirements

  • essential to be currently working in sales within the local IT market
  • previous success in developing new business within the SME and Enterprise sectors – preferably with a strategic solutions focus
  • your stable work history and track record will demonstrate your ability to work to target, generate leads and close opportunities
  • strong communication skills with excellent business writing skills and an eye for detail
  • compelling influencing and interpersonal skills for presentations and a reputation to “deliver what you promise”
  • self-managed and well organised
  • you must have the ability (hunger) to hit the ground running in a new business development role
  • desire to contribute to the overall and long-term success of the company and its reputation
