The Brief

  • achieve your revenue target within your assigned territory (SME – companies less than 1000 seats)
  • create, present and execute your territory account plan
  • predominantly a phone-based sales role, you will be required to proactively contact and develop prospects (new opportunities)
  • access prospects from the database and also utilise your entrepreneurial and networking skills to uncover new prospects
  • utilise strategic relationship management skills to maintain and grow business within your clients
  • work at senior levels to develop contacts with key decision-makers and influencers
  • facilitate and negotiate complex agreements – this could include presenting to your client (face-to-face or over the phone)
  • your focus will be on the end customer, however you may need to work with reseller partners during negotiations and to ensure the implementation process is successful
  • you will be responsible to ensure high-levels of customer satisfaction are maintained

The Requirements

  • mandatory:  applicants will need to demonstrate their ability and success to date in a hunter style sales role (minimum 2 years recent experience a B2B telesales role)
  • ability to confidently cross-sell, up-sell and present the value proposition
  • tertiary qualifications are preferred – with a preference for business, marketing or information technology disciplines
  • you will have a proven track record of achieving your previous sales targets and managing clients
  • applicants will need to be talented and influential negotiators with excellent communications skills – verbal and written
  • presentation skills are required
  • candidates with a stable work history in a technology telesales role (especially software licensing) are desired
